What To Expect

A Shared Coastal Adventure Built Around Your Group

Your session begins with a friendly welcome, equipment fitting and group safety briefing. Your instructor will explain how the adventure works, help everyone feel included and adapt the route for different ages, abilities and confidence levels.

Once you reach the water, the adventure may include rocky traverses, sea swimming, gullies, coastal features, team challenges and optional jumps. No two sessions are exactly the same because the route depends on the tide, swell, wind and the needs of your group.

The aim is not to push everyone into the biggest jump. The aim is to create an exciting, supportive experience where confident participants can enjoy extra challenge while nervous family members or group members still feel fully involved.

Swim

Move through clear coastal water and discover sections of the Pembrokeshire shoreline that cannot be reached from the path.

Scramble

Use natural rocky features, gullies and ledges as you travel along the coast with your instructor.

Jump

Try optional jumps chosen for the conditions and your confidence. Smaller alternatives are available wherever possible.

Why Stackpole?

Why Stackpole Quay Works So Well For Families & Groups

Stackpole Quay sits on one of the most dramatic stretches of the South Pembrokeshire coast. The surrounding landscape combines rocky shoreline, clear water, sheltered features and striking coastal scenery, making it a fantastic setting for a guided coasteering session.

The wider Stackpole area is close to well-known places including Barafundle Bay, Bosherston and Freshwater East. This makes coasteering easy to include in a full Pembrokeshire day out or holiday itinerary.

Shared Adventure And Scenery

This is not simply a cliff-jumping session. Coasteering is a journey through the landscape, combining movement, teamwork and exploration with views of the Pembrokeshire coast.

Routes Chosen For The Day

Experienced instructors assess the conditions and choose the most appropriate route for the group. Safety, sea state, tide and confidence all influence the session.

Mixed Confidence Welcome

You do not need previous coasteering experience. The instructor explains each part of the route and offers practical support throughout the session.

Built For Group Bookings

Coasteering naturally encourages teamwork, confidence and shared achievement, which is why it works so well for families, schools and celebration groups.

Who Is It For?

Private Coasteering For Families, Schools, Birthdays, Friends, Stags & Hens

We welcome private family bookings, friendship groups, schools, youth organisations, birthday parties, stag groups and hen groups. Some people arrive wanting adrenaline while others feel nervous and prefer a gentler introduction. Our instructors bring the group together and adapt the session so both feel supported.

Families

Create a memorable family adventure with a route adapted for mixed confidence levels.

Schools & Youth Groups

Build teamwork, resilience and confidence through a structured coastal activity led by experienced instructors.

Jumps are optional. Participants can choose a level that feels right and still remain part of the wider group adventure.

Support For Nervous Guests
